Class D is derived from class C, the latter from B and B from A:

D --abgeleitet--> C --abgeleitet--> B --abgeleitet--> A

An object d of class D can be an element of the root EP collections of all, some or none of these classes. This connection is simply represented by a bit sequence

 

where the values { 0, 1 } have the following meaning:

Value Meaning
0 DO NOT insert into Collection
1 Object becomes element of the corresponding collection
